For my activism project, I created a twitter page calling student-athletes to take the pledge against domestic violence and begin the discussion at DU. I also asked student-athletes to promote their use of the twitter page and to spread it throughout the student-athlete community. I have also included links to NOMORE.org in all of our tweets and our bio on the page. the hope is to use prominent student-athletes to promote awareness for domestic violence. Also, I can use the page to spread information about domestic violence and help raise awareness.
